NOVA | 9th Anniversary Group Show

05.16.2019 – In the early 2010s the booming art gallery scene in the Philippines has started to sprout all over Metro Manila. This produced and promoted the artistry for the best of the brightest talents that are making a name in foreign countries abroad. This also gave birth to art events shows that not only catered to the traditional art form, but reinvigorated the interest thanks to these local galleries. Nova Gallery Manila is one of those haven that put the names to their works and their passion for the arts that had recent celebrated its ninth anniversary.

10.14.2018 – Mervin Malonzo has succeeded what other artists have dreamed of. A solid following from his early days of online graphic novel series “Tabi Po” that was produced in print, which also sold out on the first two volumes of that popular series. Then a successful television series based on the same name that put him in the map. Now Mervin challenges himself crossing over to the contemporary art scene in bringing “Balatkayo” to life as his first show ever bound to be another success.
