Ghost Rider #1 | All Hells Break Loose

10.31.2019 – Ghost Rider has been one of Marvel’s underrated titles, but in the 1990s it had a revival with Danny Ketch as its main star and Johnny Blaze in a supporting role that launched the franchise expanding to other titles with a special event and those where the glory days of the supernatural series that was challenging to emulate in this era where the Avengers and X-Men are the major favorites due to the live-action cinematic treatments.

Ghost Rider had two movies with Nick Cage in the lead roles, and the character was retold in some shape or form in the comicbooks that casual fans were having difficulties to grasp on the who is this walking flaming skull on a bike or even a car. For the longtime fans, this new series could be the breath of fresh hellfire as well as new to the Ghost Rider mythos now that Marvel is reigniting the Spirits of Vengeance with a brand new series featuring not one but two Ghost Riders.

Johnny Blaze was the star for every succeeding series for Ghost Rider, but this time around a 1990s revival that will also include Danny Ketch in the lead along with his brother’s new status quo after becoming ‘the King of Hell’, which also introduce a new creative team in Ed Brisson and Arron Kuder!

Five Things About Ghost Rider: The Spirit of Vengeance!

02.14.2012 – Ghost Rider: The Spirit of Vengeance will be coming out in cinemas in a few days. For the comic book junkie anyone knows the flaming skull in a bike. The first film in 2007 had mixed reviews and not as what we expected.

Surprisingly there’s a sequel taking the “Spirits of Vengeance” title from the original comic book from the mid-1990s. The upcoming flick possibly is a semi-reboot and it still stars Nicolas Cage as Johnny Blaze cursed to become Ghost Rider. Under the Marvel Knights production which is being distributed by Warner Bros. the mother studio and owner of DC Comics.

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance: New Poster and early reviews!

Via  Comic Book Movie, Colombia Pictures has released a new poster of Nicholas Cage's new Ghost Rider film, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. Once again reprising his role as the cursed motorcyclist Johnny Blaze, he must once again ride into adventure as his hell spawn alter ego, protecting the lives of a mother and child while facing a new dark threat bent on destroying them. Check out the poster itself, featuring the rider riding and dishing out some hellfire justice.

The film recently premiered at Harry Knowles annual "Butt-Numb-A-Thon" over at the states, and early reviews were generally unfavorable. It won't be until next year still anyway, but that's not a good sign at all. Also, I just recently found out that this IS NOT a sequel to the 2007 Ghost Rider, and as the wikipedia states, a whole new origin sequence will be filmed. SDCC '11: First look photos from Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance

Via Slash Film, Empire magazine now has some photos in their latest issue of the new Ghost Rider sequel entitled "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance" (scans courtesy of The Film Stage). Once again starring starring Nicholas Cage in the titular role and as Johnny Blaze, the sequel takes place in Eastern Europe, where Blaze has relocated to in order to repress his curse. Unfortunately, he has no choice but to return to action when a sect recruits him to take on the devil, who wants to take over his son's body on the kid's own birthday. That pretty much sums up the plot of the next movie, and so far fans are actually warming up to the idea of this film seeing a release. The bike and other props were shown off in the recently concluded San Diego Comic-Con, so feedback has been positive so far.
