STGCC 2010 Update: It's Done... See You in 2011!

12.12.2010 - Singapore Toys Games and Comic Convention has winded down to be one of the most memorable conventions geek related in 2010.

STGCC 2010 Update: Happenings at Marvel!

12.12.2010 - Between exploding pens and a long line of rabid fans Peter, Mike, Lance and the whole crew of Mediaum at Large team was present to help out at the Marvel booth, which has limited supplies of posters to be given away. Marvel's first Asian booth appearance had the artists in C.B. Cebulski, Matt Fraction, Salvador Larocca, Harvey Tolibao, Lenil Francis Yu and many more!

STGCC 2010 Update: The Doors Have Opened to Day One!

12.10.2010 - Earlier at 12PM the doors to the Ultimate Pop Culture Experience in Asia has opened and everyone welcomed the convention visitors with open arms.

There was a Media Briefing led by Paul Lee of ReedEXpo who took the stage welcoming guests to the show.

STGCC 2010 Update: Minor Survival Guide!

12.10.2010 - Its all systems go as Singapore Toys Games, and Comic Convention is set to open at 12PM noon time.

For those who are unaware about the Early Bird tickets they are no longer available.

Be prepared to stand in a very long line as early as Suntec City Mall opens. Its where the International Convention Centre is located.

Press media will have an early tour and access to the convention floor at 10AM. Be sure to take advantage in getting the interviews for the guests, and snap photos before they start opening the doors for the fans to check out the Ultimate Pop Culture Experience in Asia.

STGCC 2010 Update: Day Zero Point Five Preview!

12.09.2010 - The excitement is two days away but its building up to what is one of the best Pop Culture Event closing out the year 2010. what a better way to end all great events with Singapore Toys Games and Comic Convention. Surely the best got even better this year so if you have missed the previous convention better not miss this out.

STGCC 2010 Update: Day Zero Preview!

12.09.2010 - Thanks to Peter and Mike of Medium at Large we get to see a few more photos on what's happening down there at the Suntec City International Convention Centre. Looks like The Ultimate Pop Culture in Asia is getting ready for tomorrow's festivities. The convention floor is still being prepared but we get to see a lot of happenings only STGCC 2010 can bring.

As previously announced the Early Bird rates will end today so grab your tickets at the booth located at the at the ground floor, because this isn't like what we experienced last year. This is going to be a bit more bigger than ever since Reed Expo took the reigns in organizing this event.

STGCC 2010 Update: Eataku Man, C.B. Cebulski's Welcoming Cheers!

12.09.2010 - Thanks to Mike and Peter who are blogging at Medium at Large, that we get the news Mr. Eataku himself, C.B. Cebulski has just arrived in Singapore, and just checked in the hotel a couple hours ago.

Looks like they are gonna have some fun time tomorrow (Thursday) together with Gail Simone.

STGCC 2010 Update: The Sneak Peek!

12.08.2010 - STGCC 2010 is two days away and a lot is already happening as the event about to commence very soon. We've seen some of the guests have arrived and currently soaking up the weather.

Our contacts namely Team Reed are very busy welcoming more visitors while the Halls 401 and 402 are getting set up.

Singapore is getting a lot of buzz and Strait Times, the leading newspaper there is reporting about the biggest event happening this Friday. Surely some of us are gonna miss it this year. Hopefully our Filipino friends based in Singapore can't be more excited.

12.08.2010 - Two hour ago we get to see reports that Matt Fraction has has landed in Singapore as the Ultimate Pop Culture in Asia is closing in forty eight hours.

STGCC 2010 Spotlight: Gail Simone!

12.03.2010 - Gail Simone a former hair dress in a small town in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States has found her niche becoming a fan-favorite.

Multiple-award-winning author of comic books and animation caught the eye of publishing world with her witty and acerbic parody column, "You'll All Be Sorry" at ComicBookResources.Com.

From there, she began writing The Simpsons Comics, as well as the creator-owned Killer Princesses with artist/co-creator Lea Hernandez.

STGCC 2010 Spotlight: Salvador Larocca!

11.30.2010 - Welcome to another artist feature, who will be one of the guests at this year's Singapore Toys, Games and Comic Convention happening on December 10 to12, 2010 at the Suntec International Convention Centre at Hall 401 and 402.

If you mention Salvador Larocca's name his works you would think about the comic books he had work before. Most notable comic book which came to mind is Ghost Rider, where he first spent three years penciling the book.The Spaniard who used to be a cartographer began his stint at Marvel UK on titles including Dark Angel and Death's Head II.

11.26.2010 - Welcome to a special feature for the upcoming Singapore Toys, Games, and Comic Convention, where we are featuring the upcoming guests for The Ultimate Pop Culture in Asia. Our first featured guest and renowned artist is Tang Eng Huat.

Last year we never had the opportunity to get close with Mr. Eng Huat, but was present as one of the special guests, who will be preset for this year's STGCC 2010.

Matt Fraction is Guest of Honor at STGCC 2010!

11.23.2010 - The Singapore Toy, Games & Comic Convention (STGCC) today announced that prolific American comic book writer Matt Fraction will be appearing at the 2010 Singapore Toy, Games & Comic Convention as a Guest of Honor. The STGCC, a pop culture convention, featuring renowned talent and the latest in toys, games and comics from Asia, will take place December 10-12, 2010 at the Suntec International Convention Centre in Singapore.

STGCC is co-produced by Reed Exhibitions Singapore and ReedPOP in the USA, the team behind events including the New York Comic Con. Mr. Fraction will join additional luminaries already announced by STGCC including Alex Maleev, C.B. Cebulski, Esad Ribic, Gail Simone, Giuseppe Camuncoli, Harvey Tolibao, Ivan Brandon, Leinil Yu, Salvador Larroca, Simone Legno, and all-girl J-Pop group AKB48.

Marvel Makes First Asian Debut in STGCC 2010!

11.08. 2010 - Reed Exhibitions, the organizers of the Singapore Toy, Games and Comic Convention (STGCC), announced today that Marvel Comics will be exhibiting at STGCC 2010.
This is the first convention that Marvel has ever exhibited at in Asia. To date, Reed has announced a slew of Marvel talent at STGCC 2010 including Guest of Honor Salvador Larroca and other Walk of Fame Featured Guests including Leinil Yu, Giuseppe Camuncoli, Esad Ribic, Harvey Tolibao and Alex Maleev. Reed further revealed Marvel’s Senior Vice President, Creator & Content Development and international talent scout, C.B. Cebulski, will join Larroca as Guests of Honor at STGCC 2010. STGCC will take place from 10 to 12 December 2010, at the Suntec International Convention Centre.
