Blu-Ray Review: Iron Man 2

Iron Man 2 was a great sequel. It had tons of action, special effects, and superb acting to keep the fans entertained and get their money's worth. Despite some pacing issues and some nitpicks, the sequel performed well enough to keep the numbers rolling in Marvel's favor, outperforming expectations and even surpassing the box office record of its predecessor "Iron Man". Now that four months have passed since it took theaters by storm, Tony Stark and his armored alter ego are ready to suit up and ride home, as Iron Man 2 makes its long awaited release for home video via Blu-Ray and DVD!

She will appear in the a special guest role in the titled episode "Abandoned" in Smallville, who appeared in the lost video Lois Lane (Erica Durance) discovered.

09.14.2010 - Mario Bros. is celebrating its 25th Anniversary. Originally released for the Super NES in 1993. Nintendo will be releasing an All-Stars compilation featuring enhanced remakes of Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels. The game is known as Super Mario Collection in Japan and a second version was created that bundled in Super Mario World on a single cartridge.

Swing into video game Spidey heaven with Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions!

Timzster's back, and he's gotten something awfully good to review from the video game department!

Sensational. Spectacular. AMAZING.

These words are famously paired and associated with Marvel Comics' flagship character and web-slinging superhero, Spider-Man. As it goes, everyone's friendly neighborhood wallcrawler has dedicated his life to using his powers responsibly by defending his fellow man from just about every little freak and evildoer out to terrorize society. His feats of strength, agility, and heroism have inspired and awed readers over the years, and more than once, the character has sprang over to several other mediums like movies and games where fans can see first hand how savvy a guy with radioactive spider powers can be when he goes toe to toe with the bad guys. Yes, Spider-Man is a hero and popculture icon throughout the entire world, and he continues to see publication and exposure to this very day.


All that being said, it should come as no surprise that ol' webhead has a new game out in the market today... and it's not an ordinary one at that. Oh no, this is a Spider-Man game that not only stars the main guy we all know and love, but his alternate reality counterparts as well! We're talking about 3 other Spider-Men from different worlds and universes, and some of these guys have their own cult following that's as large as the original's! They're not some mere palette swap colored freaks thrown in for variation. The three have their own distinct personalities and wit to share, and in fact one of them isn't even another Peter Parker! Looking good, noh? I've been enjoying this game too much, and as of this writing, I'm still playing and unlocking stuff as I go with things! Yes, it's been quite a wait, but finally, Activision's newest and latest attempt at making the definite Spider-Man game has come to pass... and it's pretty damn good to boot! I kid you not, true believers, this is the real deal here, and it's an experience no diehard Spider-Man fan should miss!

09.09.2010 - Collecticon 2010 is back once again happening on October 2 and 3, 2010 at the Atrium of Robinson's Midtown Mall in Ermita, Metro Manila. This has been an annual event since 2008 and admission if definitely FREE during mall hours starting at 10AM. There will be toy collections displays from various forum members of PTK (Pinoy Toy Kollectors) and a massive diorama from the guys at Toy Soldier 1:18 (The only local group dedicated to G.I. Joe & other 1/18 scale properties).

Iron Man | Movie Series War Machine!

09.02.2010 - Iron Man 2 was a block buster flick this recent summer, and was a hit that will spawn a third film. But before that the Avengers coming in 2012 would be the movie to see with Iron Man. If you where not tuned in to online news during SDCC 2010 then your an egg to call yourself a geek.

So far personal reservations to the film is just so-so as compared to the original film that was shown in 2008. But who would avoid watching the War Machine kick some serious ass in the big screen?
