Pop Culture Art at the Extensions Lopez Museum.

12.01.2010 - Museums are a great place to see the past. It's a huge time capsule of once proud history.

Evidently the current trend and perspective in a museum has been stuck in that notion until now.

Earlier today we had the opportunity to visit the Lopez Museum.

Located at one of Manila's business area you'll be surprise what's in store for you. This is partly also an art museum, which features some of the most talented painters in the country. We didn't expect to see something more closely related to our interest in the pop culture scene.

One part of the gallery that we were overwhelmed to see was the mixed media of colorful, and out of this world concepts from Pilipinas Street Plan.

It depicts the Philippine Pop Culture something to check it out and see the EXTENSIONS at the Lopez Museum. There were also vinyl toys that was painted and displayed by well-known artists, who contributed their work from Pilipinas Street Plan. From the legendary action film star Fernando Poe Jr. to the Eight Time Division World Champion Manny Pacquiao you'll see their depiction in a different light through art.

The most colorful place for you to appreciate how the Philippine Pop Culture scene is getting a spotlight gets featured at the Lopez Museum. This will be on display until April 2011.
