The Happy Meal Toy for August 2011 are The Smurfs!

08.01.2011 - This featured Happy Meal toy this August 2011 is none other than The Smurfs which will be shown across the Philippines on August 10, 2011 in 3D and 2D selected cinemas nationwide. The toys are going to be a challenge to collect where you have to complete all 8 Smurfs at McDonald’s.

If the 101 Dalmatians and Snoopy sets where the most difficult to get all this one would be easier to acquire.

In the US it would be tougher just like our initial report on the difference with the Asian and US release comparison last year with Megamind but this one has more variations. The US release is very different and you have to complete all SIXTEEN Smurfs.

Yes. Double the number of blue creatures you’re going to get and the most sought after as we assume would be Papa Smurf and Smurfette which is voiced by Katy Perry in the big screen.

Looks like there’s going to be more to go around with these blue creatures that will be seen in the big screen opposite Neil Patrick Harris (How I met your mother). Unfortunately there’s no other character in the set that you’ll get but The Smurfs.

If you’re a Smurfs fan this is going to be an easier challenge to accumulate since you only got EIGHT figures to go through and we highly suggest you get the main characters as they are really hard to get once the film is shown in regular cinemas.

The Smurfs opens across the Philippines on August 10, 2011 from Columbia Pictures Philippines on 3D and 2D selected cinemas.
