Ezio Auditore returns again in Assassin's Creed: Revelations!

Finally, after days of teasing and speculation, the next Assassin's Creed game's details have been revealed, and gamers will once again assume control and finish the tale of one Ezio Auditore!
Via a post in Kotaku, Ubisoft officially reveals what their next game, Assassin's Creed Revelations, is all about. Picking up where Brotherhood left off, an older Ezio travels to Constantinople in a journey of self-discovery and revelation, taking on the Templar order based on that region who have sinister plans up their sleeves. It's also a safe bet that we'll be seeing his descendant Desmond Miles return, as the last game presented a cliffhanger ending that should definitely be resolved in this one once and for all. Multiplayer will also be making a return with new modes and characters to use, so this should bring a nice end to the Ezio Auditore trilogy of the Assassin Creed series! For more info, check out the source post at Kotaku!

Assassin's Creed: Revelations is expected to hit the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and Windows PC this November!

Hear the tale and listen as the boys give their insights on this "headtrip" (as Billy likes to call it), and see how the visual implementation of anime, videogame, and comic book themes can blend so naturally into a film that enlists 5 gorgeous mental asylum babes and brings them into conflict with a various threats, including big ass samurai monters, nazi zombies, and fire-breathing dragons! It's as raw as it's gonna get on this newest collaboration between fanboy minds, and best be prepared for some hilarious moments concerning Billy, his *cough cough* Artbook, and his ramblings on depression! Listen up and enjoy the show!

First official movie image and details released for Silent Hill: Revelation 3D!

It appears that shooting has gone underway for the next Silent Hill movie, Silent Hill: Revelation 3D, and now movie news site Collider has the big scoop and first official image up from the movie, featuring Adelaide Clemens as Heather Mason, the protagonist and star of the Konami survival horror videogame Silent Hill 3, which Revelations is based upon. Kit Harington is also slated to star, but no role has been announced for the Game of Thornes actor yet. Shooting has begun officially March 7 and is currently taking place in Toronto, with Michael J. Bassett directing and writing the film, as well as shooting the entire thing in 3D.

Personally, I was a big fan and supporter of the way the first Silent Hill movie turned out despite its flaws. The movie got the creepiness and vibe from the games right, but it didn't really pull off the full effect of creepiness thanks to the needless addition of the townsfolk that resulted in a lackluster climax and ending. Regardless of all that, Christoph Gans and Roger Avery did an ok job in establishing the proper tone in accordance with the atmosphere seen in the games, and I'm hoping this sequel under the direction of Bassett retains this and does more to accomplish what fans of the franchise and videogames in general are hoping for: a decent and successful videogame movie adaptation. I'm not holding my breath here, but looking at the picture above and comparing it to the Heather Mason I remember from the games, there's a bit of optimism sparking inside of me. We'll just have to wait and see when more details flesh out. For now, read up more info on the movie's plot and details at the source post in Collider.

Silent Hill: Revelation 3D will be released in a date TBA.
