As the days wind down to its much anticipated home video release, new unused posters have popped up online for Christopher Nolan's epic final chapter to his Dark Knight Trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises! Created by Trailer Park at the request of Warner Bros. but not used in the promotional process, these posters have appeared in the former company's official website, and have also been featured in Batman-News.

IMAX screenings of The Hobbit get first nine minutes of Star Trek: Into Darkness

Following in the footsteps of Christopher Nolan's two Batman movie sequels, Paramount Pictures will be attaching a preview of the first nine minutes of Star Trek Into Darkness with IMAX screenings of "The Hobbit" this coming December 14!

The Dark Knight Rises: Whatever Happened To The Joker?

For those who have seen or have yet to see The Dark Knight Rises, it's a given by the synopsis alone that the film takes place eight years after the events of The Dark Knight. The Joker, played and immortalized by the late Heath Ledger, was understandably missing because of the Australian actor's passing and director Christopher Nolan choosing not to incorporate the character to honor Ledger's memory. However, the novelization of TDKR briefly mentions the criminal mastermind, and a fan has taken the liberty of creating a storyboard sequence where we find out one interpretation of what exactly happened to the so called Clown Prince of Crime.

The Dark Knight actor Christian Bale visits Aurora Colorado victims!

In what is undoubtedly a noble and honorable gesture coming from the heart, Batman star and British actor Christian Bale was spotted visiting the victims of the recent Aurora Colorado theater shooting at the Medical Center of Aurora. The Denver Post reports that the man who played Bruce Wayne and his alter ego in Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy was seen visiting the hospital this Tuesday afternoon, staying for 2 1/2 hours and meeting five people still being treated for their injuries. He wasn't representing Warner Bros., and he was just doing this on his own, as this video report from ENTV reports:

The Dark Knight Rises: Christopher Nolan says farewell to The Batman

Currently playing in theaters and ushering in the final chapter of the Dark Knight Trilogy to fans and viewers worldwide, The Dark Knight Rises also marks the last time Christopher Nolan will direct Bruce Wayne's journey in the Big Screen. That being said, the recently released book The Art and Making of The Dark Knight Trilogy contains a foreword from the British-American director himself as he bids goodbye to the Batman film franchise he helped restore to prominence.

Man Of Steel teaser trailers hits online

Attached together with "The Dark Knight Rises" in theaters, the teaser trailer to Warner Bros. and Zack Snyder's reboot of the Superman film franchise "Man Of Steel" has finally made its way online. If you haven't seen it, be sure to check it out below. Note this is different from what premiered in the San Diego Comic-Con. Still, it's a teaser, and epic to see and watch.

UPDATE: Two versions of the teaser trailer, featuring voiceovers of Russell Crowe as Jor-El and Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent have made themselves available online. Watch them below.

Of course the merchandise has started to roll out like the 7-Eleven promotions as well as the toys manufactured by Mattel that we sighted previously. The apparel like the shirts and jackets has been out for the past two weeks since the start of this month.

Sighted: The Dark Knight Rises Toys at Toy Kingdom!

06.07.2012 – Previous report sighting of The Dark Knight Rises merchandise was only found in all Toys R’ Us branches. Finally it’s now available at SM department stores and Toy Kingdom branches which have now added variety of products based from the upcoming third and final installment of the Batman films by Christopher Nolan. The additional toys sighted are the action figures minus the Quick Tek devices which still cost a lot more than we expected. For PhP 499.75 pesos (roughly $10.00 US dollars) we get a 4 inch size figure minus ANY accessories which is a bit pricey with basic articulation.

The Dark Knight Rises: Six New Character Posters!

After yesterday's reveal of a brand new theatrical poster that received some mixed reactions from the fanbase, Warner Bros. has released a slew of awesome new character posters for Christopher Nolan's final chapter in his Batman film saga, The Dark Knight Rises! There are six of these posters, two of each featuring Batman (Christian Bale), Bane (Tom Hardy), and Catwoman (Anne Hathaway)!

The Dark Knight Rises: "A Fire Will Rise" Poster

Warner Bros. has released a brand new poster for Christopher Nolan's final entry into his Batman film saga, The Dark Knight Rises. With the tagline "A Fire Will Rise", the poster shows a determined looking Batman (Christian Bale), as he stands in front of a city of falling debris with a Bat-shaped logo, which was the same background seen in the first teaser poster.
