|06.09.2013 – There’s a new set of Man of Steel action figures that Mattel has released for their Movie Masters series. If the previous set was not as interesting as the upcoming film’s character then you might look harder for these new versions of the characters.
Superman most likely the common in the bunch in the first series release did not come with any accessory save that not to the mysterious “Kryptonian Key” that would largely play a role in the film. It came with the same figure as before packaged in a different pose which is chained to the artifact.
The other new release are two versions of General Zod now in his armor while the other version is now chained but the figure is still the same one from the first release in black.
Faora is probably the most sought after figure aside from Jor-El which now has become a little uncommon compared to being only available one per case. If you have seen these figures expect it to be sold out or you might see it in an upcoming event next weekend where most wares can also be found available in Greenhills for a higher price.
But then again you’ll be lucky enough to find them in other places besides the ones where these where sighted. At this rate the promotions of the film is at all time high with a lot of product placement riding on Superman’s popularity. To any adult collector out there who would be lucky enough to find this consider your selves blessed to avoid getting this on the secondary market.
Man of Steel opens in Philippine cinemas in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D nationwide on June 12, 2013 from Warner Bros. Picture Studios!
