Trese + Secret HQ | The Fan Gathering

12.14.2019 – Secret HQ hosted a Trese launching party for the “Trese Lite Postcard Book 1”, which would be considered the second biggest fan gathering since the Dia del Libro in 21 April 2019. This time around Budjette Tan and Kajo Baldisimo are joined by Trese Deviations creators David Hontiveros and Marvin del Mundo. This is the first time that both creators of the original series had a launch gathering since the Trese Night Gallery at The Crucible that also released the Book of Murders in 2013. For this launch it was also a first for Komiket’s Secret HQ to host a launch party at the same time a signing event for local creators since they opened last month.

Lately I've noticed that the blog has been featuring a lot of local talent, we started with featuring local musicians, original Filipino music and up and coming bands which would give foreign bands a run for their money and kick them right off their spots on our radio and Music Television Countdown shows.

The blog has new purpose and that is to give a more pronounced presence for my award winning Uncle on social media (I'm his Social Media pimp so to speak- Social Media Manager is a better way of putting it also :p)

I mentioned on a recent post that my uncle - Author, writer and comic book writer - David Hontiveros will be featured on this Sunday's Philippine Daily Inquirer Sunday Magazine, I picked up a copy of the newspaper this morning and unfortunately the feature wasn't there. I've been informed that there was a delay in the printing and that it would be available on the November 9 edition but no need to be sad since there is already a digital copy of the article available!
