Trese + Secret HQ | The Fan Gathering

12.14.2019 – Secret HQ hosted a Trese launching party for the “Trese Lite Postcard Book 1”, which would be considered the second biggest fan gathering since the Dia del Libro in 21 April 2019. This time around Budjette Tan and Kajo Baldisimo are joined by Trese Deviations creators David Hontiveros and Marvin del Mundo. This is the first time that both creators of the original series had a launch gathering since the Trese Night Gallery at The Crucible that also released the Book of Murders in 2013. For this launch it was also a first for Komiket’s Secret HQ to host a launch party at the same time a signing event for local creators since they opened last month.

08.29.2016 – The last day of AsiaPop Comic Con Manila is like Saturday packed with even more people attending this event. It’s still filled with activities and happenings courtesy of exhibitors who have their own gimmick attracting visitors to their booths. Though the weekend was winding down there’s still enough happenings to look forward to. There’s still on-stage panel discussions with guest artists. Plus there’s the CAGE finals all set to rock some of the best cosplayers from this county.

Why You Should Get Trese Book of Murders!

11.17.2013 – Trese: Book of Murders collects all thirteen chapters from the first three volumes of the series. It’s the collected hardcover edition that was launch in the recent Trese Night Gallery that featured Kajo Baldisimo’s works. The collected edition was produced by Visprint Inc., and it was limited to 2000 copies which is also available at Filbar’s. The same book was also released at the recently concluded Komikon 2013 since the sixth book didn’t make it.

11.03.2013 – Halloween may be over but the adventures of Alexandra Trese never stop as long as the city is safe for everyone. But usually the story doesn’t focus on Ms. Trese as most of the readers may come to think. There are other interesting characters and one peculiar individual by the name of Hank Sparrow come to mind. In reality he is based on a real person named Hank Palenzuela. Most people would identify him as Captain Jack Sparrow… Yes that drunken pirate.

10.28.2013 – Trese Night Gallery’s official unveiling is also the launch of “Trese Book of Murders” collecting all thirteen chapters of the original run. It’s the compilation of the first three volumes which was published by Visprint Inc. The graphic novel is released in the American size comic book format with some of the pages re-drawn and printed in the highest quality. It was held at the Crucible Gallery featuring art works by Kajo Baldisimo which is his first ever solo show.

10.23.2013 – Trese Night Gallery is the first ever exhibit and solo show for Kajo Baldisimo. The artist behind the detailed art of the successful comic book series which was co-created by Budjette Tan. The exhibit had a soft opening starting on November 22, 2013. This event will also release the collected edition of the first three volumes of Trese divided in thirteen chapters to be launched on November 26, 2013 which is this Saturday that fall into Halloween ComicFest.

Chuck Taylor All-Star became their iconic product and basketball shoes which were named after a well-known athlete who would possibly be the first to have his name on those sneakers.
