Geoff Johns is one of the best writers in comics who breathe life to Hal Jordan following his fall out as Parallax and becoming The Spectre. Johns gave Hal Jordan his life back through the ‘Green Lantern: Rebirth’ series. Geoff Johns is connected to Green Lantern as he wrote an entire run about them. Not only did he write the stories for Hal Jordan, but also the entire world that is one part of the DC Universe and he became synonymous with it until his last story. There has been writers who took over Johns has he got promoted to DC Comics to head out bigger things. Some new readers would probably go back to the previous books to find out what really happened to OA and the rest of the Green Lantern Corps.
