Hal Jordan & the Green Lantern Corps #1 | Forged.

07.20.2016 – Hal Jordan is the greatest Green Lantern of all time, and he has been through a lot. Geoff Johns is one of the best writers in comics who breathe life to Hal Jordan following his fall out as Parallax and becoming The Spectre. Johns gave Hal Jordan his life back through the ‘Green Lantern: Rebirth’ series.

Geoff Johns is connected to Green Lantern as he wrote an entire run about them.

Not only did he write the stories for Hal Jordan, but also the entire world that is one part of the DC Universe and he became synonymous with it until his last story.

There has been writers who took over Johns has he got promoted to DC Comics to head out bigger things. Some new readers would probably go back to the previous books to find out what really happened to OA and the rest of the Green Lantern Corps.

If you’re a casual reader you might not need to as you start fresh with “Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps: Rebirth #1.”

"Green Lantern" stars Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively... Married!

The news surprised me like Ganthet's long hair standing out over the other Guardians!

Apparently and by way of news from People and Entertainment Weekly, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively married over the weekend in South Carolina! The actor and actress, who co-starred together as Hal Jordan and Carol Ferris respectively in 2011's live action adaptation of "Green Lantern", have been dating for over a year now and have finally decided to tie the know together in a pairing that's sure to get fans and admirers talking.

Green Lantern Update: New "We Are The Corps" banner!

With about a month to go until it finally arrives in theaters, Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment have decided to tune up the band and release a sweet looking banner poster that features the ENTIRE Green Lantern Corps raising their rings up high, who are set to appear alongside Ryan Reynolds' Hal Jordan in "Green Lantern"! You can get a bigger look at the banner by visiting the source post at Superherohype!

The Green Lantern Movie's First Trailer Will Be Attached To Harry Potter!

Next week, the first part of the final adventure of "The Boy Who Lived" will be told in cinemas, as "Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 1" will be unveiled for the world to see.

However, that's not the reason why I want to watch the movie.

Apparently, Warner Bros. will be attaching the first long awaited TRAILER of the live action movie adaptation of "Green Lantern" along with the film! The film, starring Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan, will be out next year still, so this is the moment when we'll be able to see the ring charge up and shine for the first time as a tease in theaters! Now that is news! It gives me a good reason why I should see Mr. Potter, personally not being a fan of the franchise. Anyway, Slash Film has the scoop, and Entertainment Tonight will be premiering said trailer this Tuesday as well. For a preview on that, check out the sneak peek here!

PCC: Witness The Emerald Power Of Green Lantern's Costume!

Hey guys! Timzster's back, sharing some BIG Comic Book Movie News as posted in my blog, Pop Culture Crusader!

Via Newsarama, Entertainment Weekly's official website has just revealed the latest issue of the magazine that features the full look and costume Ryan Reynolds wears when he dons the emerald ring and assumes the role of DC's cosmic hero, Green Lantern! Check it out and be amazed by GL's light!

Pretty Amazing! It's obviously enhanced with CG effects, but the look is too cool and feels just right for the film adaptation! Now I'm really looking forward to footage from this sure to be 2011 comic book blockbuster, and maybe the upcoming San Diego Comic Con will have a tease! Let's just wait and see...
