Mythology Class 20th Anniversary at Komiket 2019!

09.30.2019 – The fourth quarter of 2019 is pushing for more surprises and interesting things with regard to Filipino Comics. Ahead of the upcoming Komiket 2019 is the re-release of Arnold Arre’s the Mythology Class that won the 2000 National Book Award, which will give you a tease to the upcoming sequel.

This is also the 20th Anniversary year of the original series that put the writer/artist on the map and changed the way Filipino Komiks was produced and inspired a generation of authors that made their own stories about the rich mythology of the Filipino Folklore that also reflects the country’s culture.

Nautilus Comics: What Arnold Arre Revealed on His Talk!

12.07.2014 – Nautilus Comics organized a small talk featuring Arnold Arre who recently re-released two of his works from the early 2000s. The first one was “Trip to Tagaytay” a short story penned is as a sort of love letter to wife Cynthia Arre.

The second book is the “Mythology Class”, a 2000 National Book Award the very first graphic novel to receive such award by the Manila Critics Circle. It was released at Komikon 2014 with three different covers that were long awaited.

BTS: Arnold Arre's The Mythology Class!

11.22.2014 - It’s been a long time since Arnold Arre released a new graphic novel, but for each release it was appreciated by many. His recent work was collaboration with Gerry Alanguilan in Rodski Patotski: Ang Dalagang Baby.

This brought a positive response to the Philippine komiks community to revive some of his early works that made him a household name. In the recent Indieket he re-released his short story “Trip to Tagaytay” and in Komikon the much awaited “Mythology Class.”

Nautilus Graphics to release Trip Tagaytay & Cast 12!

07.31.2014 – Komikon Indieket is just a few days away and this is the second event that celebrates 10th year of the Philippine Komiks Convention (Komikon) and there will be new works that will be unveiled. If you missed Summer Komikon last April this is your next stop on the first Saturday of August.

It’s clearly going to be something to look forward to with the gamut of new material and meeting friends in the Philippine comics industry surely this is the right place to spend your weekend.
