The Dark Knight Rises Update: Trailer description appears online.

I've seen the advanced screening premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II yesterday (and I must say as a non-fan of the franchise, it was quite a good film to wrap the series up neatly). Unfortunately, no trailers were shown and I have yet to see the teaser to Warner Bros. and Christopher Nolan's next and final Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises. However, interesting news popped up in the woodwork these past few hours, as reports from Cinema Blend, Slash Film, and Bleeding Cool lead to suggest that said teaser trailer HAS BEEN SHOWN elsewhere in the world, specifically in a theater in Britain when it WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE SHOWN yet.

What you see above is a screen capture of said trailer, which played somewhere in the UK. This was featured in CinemaBlend and it also includes a brief description of what to expect from the trailer, which you can see below and is as quoted from the source article in CinemaBlend. Remember, this is possible SPOILER MATERIAL, so read at your own risk!

"Gary Oldman voiceover, talking about how they needed him, then he had to disappear. Footage of Bruce Wayne walking up the mountain from Batman Begins, and surrounded by bats from Batman Begins. This is intercut with Gary Oldman looking like he is dying in a hospital bed, talking to what seems to be Bruce Wayne ion the foreground. Footage of the batpod driving away from the camera from TDK. Then it goes black, and Tom Hardy as Bane in his mask appears for a moment, then disappears. Logo in a crumbling skyline, as in the poster, then the film name, then a shot of a worn out Batman about to fight Bane in the foreground."

From the way this sounds and how everything seems to corroborate this, it looks like this is the real deal we'll be getting once this teaser makes the rounds in selected screenings and officially pops up online. Christopher Nolan is ready to bring his version of Batman full circle. Now all we can do is wait until it hits theaters next year! For more info and details, visit CinemaBlend, Slash Film, or Bleeding Cool!

The Dark Knight Rises opens in theaters on July 20, 2012!
