Wonder Woman Comic-Con® Trailer!

07.27.2016 - Power, Grace, Widsom, and Wonder are the qualities that were written in the Wonder Woman teaser poster that was released ahead of the official trailer. Gal Gadot is at the center of the panel that introduced the cast with director Patty Jenkins. The trailer was one of the highlights for DC Comics and definitely one of the most anticipated for the DC Extended Universe.

08.08.2015 –If you missed out on the official release of the new “Deadpool” trailer on Conan you might have missed the ‘Merc with the Mouth’ using Panda tears to save the comedian’s life but the studio bringing this is too kind for you not to see this. Though fair warning to kids out there THIS IS a red band trailer and might you want to have parents with you to watch this kids…

Most people retire at 60 but at 75 our favorite caped crusader, the only Dark 
Knight recognized and loved by generations is on full throttle with a new movie up in the works, with none other than his buddy Superman. (Even if fans are still at odds with former Daredevil Ben Affleck wearing the famous cape and cowl), a new origin series Gotham from Fox is also on the way, with Bruno Heller on the helm (it's on my watch list). In 75 years Batman has been immortalized in all sorts and forms of media, from series, television series, publishing and merchandise and this has allowed him to be discovered and loved by generations who have looked up to a very human superhero (not an alien, not a god) but an ordinary guy who drew strength from a tragedy and faced his fears to fight evil and seek justice as The Dark Knight.

While every other fangirl is going gaga over the recently released Fifty Shades of Grey trailer (I'm not a fan-really) a whole different spectrum of fangirls and boys were going gaga over the confirmed news that the cast and director of Warner Bros. Pictures Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno will be attending the Philippine Premiere.

12.12.2013 – A few months back during the height of Pacific Rim there were a lot of tributes, viral videos and memes dedicated to the sci-fi film directed by Guillermo Del Toro that introduced everyone to the battle savvy Jaegers and Kaiju. Some would think out worldly what if the film was originally inspired by an 8-bit game? But in reality it’s an original film though there are fans from Japan would make it as it was actually from the 1980s…

Movie Musings: Spoiler Free Review: The Wolverine

So we just got back from a 9:00AM screening of The Wolverine at Resorts World Manila. While I feel very grateful for the free tickets there is still much to be said about their policy of having to register for a membership card to get a movie ticket (it was inconvenient and disorganized) I will still say thank you and leave it at that and go on to my spoiler free movie review. I still love you Resort's World - I'll make sure to be a member to avoid any inconveniences in the future. :P 

Okay so going back to The Wolverine - first off - I will say that I absolutely loved it! Liked is an understatement because I loved it! Easily 4 out of 5 stars! It was able to redeem itself from the awfully cliche-ridden X-Men: Origins movie - The Wolverine (which is a stand alone sequel after X-Men III: The Last Stand) has no cliches' what so ever and is in fact quite unpredictable. There are times in the movie where I found myself thinking 'Okay - so what's next?' because you absolutely have no idea what's coming and you'll definitely be quick on your feet and thinking throughout the movie, which is always a welcome experience when watching a movie. Sometimes it's not all about the effects and the fight scenes you also got to make your brain work and like a very good book 'The Wolverine' has surprises in every corner. Can I just tease that there is definitely a shocker scene and something that you definitely won't expect. (Wink. Wink). Oh and don't hold on to your horses for this one - you don't know who your enemies or allies are - so watch out! 

Set in modern day Japan - with a bit of the old - it was a refreshing change to the usual X-Men (Xavier school for the gifted setting :P) 

Wolverine is back on the Big Screen!

Everyone's favorite mutant (favorite pertaining to popular) Wolverine is back on the big screen. After lead roles in all three X-Men movies, a hilarious cameo in X-Men: First Class and a not so popular X-Men:Origins: The Wolverine movie; Logan is back with a stand alone sequel to X-Men 3: The Last Stand and this is the action filled The Wolverine.

05.14.2013 – Man of Steel is less than a month away and previously merchandise tied-up to the film has been released. There are action figures and interesting merchandise that you’ll find almost anywhere but always keep an eye also on the not-so-real ones. For years SM Department Store for Boys & Teens wear has been producing significant amount of licensed clothing from Warner Bros. and it has become part of their products that bring you for the geeks namely shirts based from comic book heroes. For this year Boys & Teens Wear line of clothing spotlights on the Man of Steel.

The Hobbit: Peter Jackson unveils new "Dwarves" poster

The Batman Live Tour at HP Pavilion in San Jose!

09.23.2012 – This past weekend we got to experience in seeing The Batman Live World Arena Tour which started its North America show this month. We caught up with the event courtesy of our friends this past Friday at the HP Pavilion.



In some cases you didn't know it’s a bit out of “human” standards that you might not want to end up living in one. Its proprietor is The Prince of Darkness Count Dracula who finally grants his first-ever interview in conjunction with the opening of the 3D animated monster comedy “Hotel Transylvania” where he plays the lead role.
