During its Pre-Tokyo Game Show event, Sony revealed a newer and sleeker model of their Playstation 3, which will come in 250GB and 500 GB packages. The latest redesign is 20% less weight and 25% less volume compared to the current PS3 slim. The 250GB model goes on sale in the US (Black color only) along with Uncharted 3 / Dust 514 on September 25th.
Japan gets standard editions of the 250GB and 500GB on October 4th, available in Black or "Classic White" colors. More details can be read up on the story by visiting IGN or Kotaku!

Similar to the ones they've posted before, this new set features new poses for Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), and a few others, which can be viewed below.

Via IGN and a post from TFormers.com, a new teaser for the upcoming second season of Transformers Prime has made its way online, showing a showdown between Optimus Prime and Megatron, which ends in bright flash of light and never shows the outcome of that battle. The scene then jumps into the cosmos, where Prime's voice can be heard talking about a prophecy Primus foretold about a great evil awakening when the time is right... With two months to go before it shows in theaters, Marvel and Paramount have released two new images for their first superhero flick this year, Thor! Both shown and revealed in IGN as well as featured in Slash Film, first up is a new poster, featuring a mugshot of actor Chris Hemsworth in character and costume, with the entire image draped in a hue of red, and the words "The God Of Thunder" placed right smack in the middle before the logo to remind viewers of who exactly this man is.
If that wasn't enough, Marvel and Paramount have also released a banner featuring mugshots of not only Thor himself, but also of other prominent characters in the movie, namely Odin, Jane Foster, and Heimdall, combined together to form the main "THOR" logo itself. With a week left to go before it smashes into consoles around the world, Marvel Vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds isn't holding back any punches when it comes to delivering some sweet looking gameplay and character trailers for fans to salivate over. With just about the entire roster already revealed for Capcom's next crossover brawler, who's next to get his own character montage video? Why the boss himself of course, who is none other than the devourer of worlds himself, Galactus!
As shown and featured over at IGN, Capcom and Marvel have provided new images and details surrounding Galactus, who happens to be the final opponent players will face at the end of MvC3. His revelation as the last boss was leaked about a week ago in the web, but now we get some official info on this guy, and It won't be a walk in the part fighting this cosmic giant to finish the game. Before facing the mighty one himself, you'll have to deal with two heralds, who'll be powered up versions of the bad guys you'll be facing in game like Dr. Doom and Dormammu, only both fighting at the same time! Once you get rid of them, the devourer of worlds attacks, and the fate of the world rests on your shoulders now! Check out the character video to see what I mean!
