11.20.2013 – It’s been seven years since the first compilation of KULAS comic strips was compiled in one volume that introduced more readers to the character. The simple one liner jokes and silent humor gives KULAS a personality created by Freely Abrigo. Sights & Highlights: Trese Night Gallery Launch!

10.28.2013 – Trese Night Gallery’s official unveiling is also the launch of “Trese Book of Murders” collecting all thirteen chapters of the original run. It’s the compilation of the first three volumes which was published by Visprint Inc. The graphic novel is released in the American size comic book format with some of the pages re-drawn and printed in the highest quality. It was held at the Crucible Gallery featuring art works by Kajo Baldisimo which is his first ever solo show.

09.08.2013 – It’s the first ever All-Filipino publication event that features writers, poets, and even graphic artists of the comic book medium. There were book launches, panel discussions, seminars and special guests organized by Visprint Inc. There are also participating publishers Milflores, UST Publishing House, DLSU Publishing House, Adarna, Flipside Publishing, UP Press, The UP Institute of Creative Writing, and many more surprises revealed during the event.

05.31.2013 – Visprint and Komikon Inc. team up to bring you Mini-Komikon Night as presented The National Book Development Board which features the Philippine comic industry that has the creators of Trese, Filipino Heroes League, Kuting Magiting, Beerkada, West Side and many more as well as the publisher Black Ink. The short but successful event featured talks by Budjette Tan how he developed the highly popular Trese comic book series with the upcoming sixth book this November. The event was visited my all walks of life who has appreciated the local komiks scene.

11.10.2012 – Trese the creation of Budjette Tan and Kajo Baldisimo has had a steadily growing cult following. Slowly the series is getting noticed in the pop culture mainstream. They grow in numbers with every book released and the series progress with each adventure that featuring our heroine in Alexandra Trese and the Kambals (twins). The latest Trese graphic novel in the Midnight Tribunal had an intimate launch at NBS Best Sellers branch in Robinsons Galleria earlier.

WIT 2012: The 2nd Annual Readers' Day this Saturday!

09.07.2012 – This weekend is The 2nd Annual Readers' Day dubbed Writers In Talks 2012 (WiT) happening on September 8, 2012. This one day event features Visprint’s talented writers and artists in the industry. If you happen to appreciate reading books this event would also be interesting as they would also have a special book sale that is exclusive only at WIT 2012!



There will be featured guests who will be conducting talks in this event with the likes of Manix Abrera (Kiko Machine Komix), Budjette Tan (Trese Komix), and Paolo Fabregas (Filipino Heroes League) representing the comics industry.
