| 09.01.2012 – Play Imaginative has been around to bring toy and character designs and they have nrrm present since the very first Singapore Toy, Game, and Comic Convention as one of the key players in the interest exclusive collectibles released figures.
The highlight for STGCC 2012 is the introduction of the 1/6 Scale Super Alloy Series featuring Batman based from the unique vision of Jim Lee. The 12 inch figure comprises of 85% die-cast metal alloy with more than 50 points of articulation. |
Superb craftsmanship goes to the design sculpted with a PVC face. There are other specifications and details listed below as shared images taken earlier this morning on opening day of STGCC 2012. The Play Imaginative booth will be the first you’ll see upon entering the convention floor with fans and collectors lining up to pre-order this Batman figure with a retail price of $350.00 SG Dollars to be released on September 25, 2012.

Besides the main attraction of the Batman as the first figure to be released in the Alloy Series Play Imaginative is well known also for their vinyl collectible figurines and they also have exhibits on display featuring famous characters from Walt Disney and Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants cartoon series.
The pre-release figures for the Mini World Series 2012 was on display which features Walt Disney characters in Mickey and Minnie Mouse as well as different representations of the alien Stitch.
There are three Mini World Series figures from Walt Disney which is the ones featuring the Disney characters to be released in November 2012.

The soon-to-be released Mickey Mouse Vinyl Art due in November 2012 will feature his first appearance in monochrome from 1928 in Steamboat Willie, then there’s the Santa Claus Edition and then there’s Mecha Micky Mouse from Japanese toy designer DevilRobots as the anticipated figures in the first wave.
Then there’s the Mickey Mouse Vinyl Art Wave 2 where the famous mouse was known for in Brave Little Sailor, The Sorcerer in Fantasia, and Project Mickey Mouse by Sergio Mancini to name a few figures coming out which will be released in February 2013.
Besides the Walt Disney and Nickelodeon in SpongeBob SquarePants Mini World Series they also have vinyl figures featuring Paul Frank Sunich’s creation in Julius which will also release a Trexi version both series will be released in October and November 2012.

There are also other properties at the Play Imaginative booth that’s also in display like the Wave 1 of Happy Tree and Friends also to be released in November 2012.
Of course who would not forget Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants at the Play Imaginative booth where all of the Wave 2 series was on exhibit has the release. The quirky and humorous collection of residence from Bikini Bottom will be coming your way based from the much loved TV series.
