Funko Pop! Disney | Steamboat Willie

11.18.2016 – “Steamboat Willie” was a classic animation by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks. It’s Mickey and Minnie Mouse’s debut on November 18, 1928. The black & white animated short was produced by Walt Disney Studios

This was the first cartoon not only introduces Mickey Mouse for the first time it was the very first Disney cartoon with synchronized sound. The cartoon is iconic that Funko produced “Steamboat Willie” is one of the first Pop Vinyl figures.

Marvel Tsum Tsum #1 | Here They Come!

08.06.2016 – “Tsum Tsum” is a stuff toy collectible first introduced in 2013, which features Disney characters that also includes Disney-owned Marvel and Star Wars franchises. They where first released in Japan as a tie up to the Tsum Tsum arcade and mobile games developed by Konami and Line Corporation.

It’s a popular collectible item which Disney has sold 1.8 million “Tsum Tsum” toys. Marvel adapted and produced a comicbook series based on the “Tsum Tsum” toy brand. The name is derived from the Japanese verb tsumu meaning "to stack", because the toys are designed to stack on top of each other, forming a pyramid shape.

Besides stuff toys they have expanded into collectible figurines and die cast cars that you can stack them. In the comicbook written by Jacob Chabot with art by David Baldeon, the “Tsum Tsum” are alien creatures who where smuggled by an alien in the sector where the Guardians of the Galaxy patrols.

The freighter pilot went through a blockade when the Guardians encountered another alien race looking for trouble.

Revelations in Tomorrowland's Newest Trailer!

04.24.2015 – Tomorrow Land’s plot is as mysterious as its past trailers, which doesn’t say much unlike what the film is about. The events is not set in the future but based on the previous teasers it says the world is based on another place.

This world that was inspired from a Walt Disney theme park just released a new trailer aside from the one released for the Japan market last month to shed some light to this film.

Beauty & the Beast Broadway in Manila 2015!

10.17.2014 – Rarely the Philippines gets to have Broadway musicals as most are from foreign countries like in the US. But if there’s an event in the caliber from Broadway expect a packed venue and tickets would probably be sold out.

The hit Broadway musical that drew record audiences during the past 20 years with its wonderful songs and music, spectacular production, fabulous costumes and superb acting will awe and enthrall Filipino music and theater enthusiasts when Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” is staged in Manila in January, 2015.

The beautiful and timeless story of love and transformation behind one of the most-loved fairy tales of all time will hold fans spellbound when the original Broadway musical spectacular makes its debut on January 9-25, 2015 at the Main Theater (Nicanor Abelardo Hall) of the Cultural Center of the Philippines, Roxas Blvd., Pasay City.

Disney Theatrical Productions, NETworks, Broadway Entertainment Group are collaborating together with Ovation Productions in bringing to the country the Broadway musical as part of its ongoing 10-country first-ever international tour in celebration of its 20th anniversary on the stage.

STGCC 2013: Play Imaginative Vinyl Figure Releases!

09.20.2013 – STGCC 2013 has a lot of new stuff coming out despite the obvious theme for this year is more into promoting “Iron Man 3” with Action City & Hot Toys teaming up to bring the Hall of Armors while Play Imaginative having their own armor area.

Toy Review: Hero's Duty Ralph!

12.21.2012 – Wreck-It Ralph has smashed through the box office and the height of the animated feature also produced merchandise not to mention action figures! When the toys first came out nobody took interest until there were empty shelves of soft plush versions of Ralph & one lonely Fix-It Felix Jr. the film.

Thinking Toy the same manufacturer for bringing authentic Toy Story figures based from the actual animated feature film was also behind the release of Wreck-It Ralph action figures.
