SpongeBob + Secret Fresh | Spongiest Art Show

11.19.2019 – Contemporary art is subjective but if you put a pre-existing subject and reinterpreted by a visual artist’s perspective it defines the character in a new light such as this past Sunday’s collaboration with Secret Fresh and Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob, which celebrated the character’s 20th Anniversary. The plethora of diverse reinterpretation of SpongeBob by 21 artists will give you a fresh perspective of the character that has been around for 20 years. The reveal of 21 art toys accompanied by individual paintings definitely gives you a look of SpongeBob in a different light celebrating the hero of Bikini Bottom.

07.28.2019 – SpongeBob is taking you beyond Bikini Bottom and that is collaborating with Secret Fresh Gallery that will feature local artists in the Philippines incorporating their art style to the famous character from Nickelodeon with some interesting concepts as part of the character’s 20th Anniversary. The press launch unveiled a special art toy that the featured artists will work around and will be revealed before the end of 2019. Jollibee Kids Meal 2015: SpongeBob Aqua Heroes!

03.18.2015 – “SpongeBob SquarePants: Sponge Out of Water” is set to invade the Philippines with the rest of Asia and Australia following its successful release in the US last month. Your favorite characters from Nickelodeon’s hit series are coming! To celebrate the release of the sequel to the 2004 original animated movie Jollibee, the Philippines famous fast food restaurant is featuring these characters as their Kids Meal!

Happy Meal Asia 2014: SpongeBob's Underwater Adventures!

04.15.2014 – Happy Meal in the Philippines quickly updated the latest toys to be released after Super Mario 3D World went sold out in less than seven days. It wasn’t released in other territories aside from Japan and some parts of South America in 2013. Immediately McDonald’s Philippines had a back up plan and they have now SpongeBob SquarePants Underwater Adventures. But this is not the first time SpongeBob was featured for the Happy Meal. This was previously released last year in Austria, Germany, Luxembourg, Poland, Qatar and Pakistan.

STGCC 2013: Play Imaginative Vinyl Figure Releases!

09.20.2013 – STGCC 2013 has a lot of new stuff coming out despite the obvious theme for this year is more into promoting “Iron Man 3” with Action City & Hot Toys teaming up to bring the Hall of Armors while Play Imaginative having their own armor area. But there’s more to seeing all forty two versions of the Iron Man armor there are also other unrelated like the 501st Singapore’s interesting “Easter egg” laced diorama where you can spot some unusual things in the “Battle of Endor.” But there’s more to be excited what else to see the “Biggest Pop Culture Event in Asia!”

03.04.2013 – This month of March McDonald’s brings you the latest Happy Meal toys in SpongeBob SquarePants. Originally released in North America mid-2012 and they came out with sixteen different characters in its first run. Usually the ones that came out from North America makes it to Australia and parts of Asia but not completely intact. The maximum characters or toys they released is eight figurines depends on which region you’re in Asia its still a modest number compared to other competing fast food restaurants.

02.25.2013 – This March 2013 McDonald’s Happy Meal in the Philippines is SpongeBob SquarePants which features eight characters with four others that has Mr Krabs, Sandy, Patrick Star and Squidward in Olympics themes. Originally it was released in North America sometime prior to the Olympics with sixteen character designs that also featured others from the cartoon series. Evidently the Asian release gets only a selected few.

STGCC 2012: Batman, Disney, & SpongeBob at Play Imaginative!

09.01.2012 – Play Imaginative has been around to bring toy and character designs and they have nrrm present since the very first Singapore Toy, Game, and Comic Convention as one of the key players in the interest exclusive collectibles released figures. The highlight for STGCC 2012 is the introduction of the 1/6 Scale Super Alloy Series featuring Batman based from the unique vision of Jim Lee. The 12 inch figure comprises of 85% die-cast metal alloy with more than 50 points of articulation.

There’s all eight to choose from similar to those figurines that Burger King had a few years ago. The difference with these new SpongeBob SquarePants figurines is each of the variance of the famous resident of Bikini Bottom has its own feature. See the Astronaut SpongeBob has a light up while Super Sponge has a story to share by taking a peek at his ear to view his misadventures with his best friend Patrick Star.
