DLD Tribute: Mr. Spock Rememebred (1931-2015)!

Captain Spock has sadly indeed gone to explore the final frontier (Leonard Simon Nimoy - March 26, 1931 - February 27, 2015). At 83 Terran years of age, Captain Spock, now Ambassador Spock, finally succumbed to end-stage chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. He is survived by his wife, Susan, and his two children: Adam and Julie. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

We will always remember him as one of the best - if not the best - Captain of the Enterprise.

We're consumed with grief right now, but even with his death find ourselves comforted by Captain Spock's words from Wrath of Khan:

Spock:  "Do not grieve, admiral. It is logical. The needs of the many outweigh ..."
Kirk: "the needs of the few,"
Spock: "Or the one ..." I never took the Kobayashi Maru test, until now... What do you think of my solution?"

Spock: ""I have been and always shall be your friend. Live long and prosper."

His soul was indeed the most "human."

But if you’re looking for something new and fresh pretty sure you’ve heard one title that just came out few days ago. That comic book is “Spider-Gwen.” Now what dog gone is that comic book?

Sure the hype surrounding this new series will confuse you that Marvel started to expand more title related to Spider-Man. You’ve got Peter Parker already, Miles Morales as the Ultimate Spider-Man, the All-New Spider-Woman and now there’s a Spider-Gwen.

Yes. That Gwen Stacy known as another Spider-Woman and by now you’re confused to lose interest immediately.

Sharlto Copley is Chappie!

02.27.2015 - Chappie is a world away from reality that a robot can become independent and be part of humanity. It’s like asking Johnny Five to be the savior of the human race and it’s quite interesting another futuristic film have Sharlto Copley.

In another film a couple years ago he portrayed a psychopathic mercenary in a distant future hunting a fugitive. Now portraying Chappie who is on the run just because a machine can’t be independent on its own and they want it destroyed.

Of course in comic book form he’s been teaming up with other characters from the 616-Universe and mostly his contemporaries in the recently concluded Spider-Verse event. There’s so much interest now on the webcrawler that he’s finally coming home.

Well for this issue it’s not your basic homecoming as Spidey and Agent Coulson makes a house call to one Dr. Stephen Strange residence. Of course for those who remembered Captain America’s team who were on the run during Civil War event has made this place their own base of operations.

DM Minion Made: Hula Minion!

02.10.2015 – The Minions are crazy little yellow-skinned hardworking people. Its Gru’s personal army that became more popular than their master. They literally stole the show from Gru who is the lead character in Despicable Me and its sequel.

Now news is that a spinoff revealing their origins are in the works simply titled “Minions” is so apt you don’t need to mention their name. Thinkway Toys produced variations and size of the characters. But the small scale line definitely was a hit that they produced various themes including the Hawaiian Minions like this Hula dancer.
