Wakfu Premieres on Toonami with New Episodes!

06.09.2016 – Wakfu: The Animated Series is heading to Toonami Asia. The new series based on the videogame of same name is produced by Ankama Animation, originally a French animated television series which have 26 first season episodes. Yugo the Eliatrope and his friends in Sadida Kingdom take you to new adventures, which for those who played the game would get the familiarity of the show. This will be a fresh perspective also to new viewers a jumping point to catch the new series.

Toonami Ready For Dragon Ball Super!

11.12.2015 – Dragon Ball is one of Japan’s iconic series on television and now Toonami will be airing its latest in Dragon Ball Super. This is not a retelling of Dragon Ball Z or a side story like Dragon Ball GT, but it is series after the Majin Boo story arc. The new series is a good jumping point to new fans and more of the official announcement has been revealed that it set to air in the Asian region. Dragon Ball Super, the first Dragon Ball television series to be produced in nearly 20 years, will make its pan-regional launch on Toonami, Turner’s kids brand dedicated to delivering the best superhero and action-adventure animation, in mid-2016. The latest instalment of the classic franchise will have an exclusive first-run premiere on Toonami, which will also be its English-language world premiere.

Green Lantern TAS: Beware My Power!

NAMI: Age of Superheroes Web Series!

10.27.2013 – NAMI is an original character developed by Toonami Asia. The origins of the character were based from a “Tell the story of NAMI” writing competition which was held this year. The winning entry was from Zachary who is based in the Philippines. But until now all efforts by Toonami Asia to contact the winner was exhausted. The animated short premiered online via the Toonami Asia on Youtube.

Toy Sightings: Max Steel!

10.17.2013 – Just in time for Max Steel to make his debut on Toonami Asia earlier this month there are new action figures and role play toys coming out manufacture by Mattel and distributed by Richwell Prime in the Philippines. The new reincarnation of Max Steel looks promising for big scale action figures but not as big as its previous predecessors that featured larger vehicles and possibly play sets. The new Max Steel reintroduced the character for the new generation. Previously featured Max Steel Cycle was just a preview of the new look for the character.

09.19.2013 – Toonami Asia launched in late 2012 is a spin off cable channel from Cartoon Network which caters more to young adults having content featuring super hero related shows enough action packed non-stop animated adventures. Sometime in March Toonami Asia also launched the Toonami Inception 2013 at the Eastwood which is an open event. In the same year Toonami launched their “Tell the story of NAMI” writing contest which chose one winner.
