Happy Meal 2020 | We Bare Bears

08.02.2020 – There have been great Happy Meal toys and recent releases wasn’t what collectors are hoping for. The best ones that usually released are exclusives to a specific country or region and those were from collaboration with Disney that also owns Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, and it’s other properties.

The slowdown due to the worldwide pandemic has been a complicated challenge for companies like McDonald’s that release their Happy Meal toys. In Asia, there haven’t been toys from the fast-food giant that really was unforgettable like 101 Dalmatians or the United Nation’s Snoopy.

Rick & Morty | Happy Meal that Never Was

08.20.2017 – Rick and Morty has become popular with its series currently running for three seasons on Adult Swim.

It has spawned limited merchandise and most recently action figures with build-a-figure for Morty’s mechanized family dog, Snowball.

You’ve got shirts toys, board games and anything Rick and Morty related, but there never were any toys that came out as free for breakfast cereals or even Happy Meal toys that some collectors kept speculating and here’s the truth about this…

Wakfu Premieres on Toonami with New Episodes!

06.09.2016 – Wakfu: The Animated Series is heading to Toonami Asia. The new series based on the videogame of same name is produced by Ankama Animation, originally a French animated television series which have 26 first season episodes.

Yugo the Eliatrope and his friends in Sadida Kingdom take you to new adventures, which for those who played the game would get the familiarity of the show. This will be a fresh perspective also to new viewers a jumping point to catch the new series.

3 Things to See in the New Powerpuff Girls!

04.09.2016 – The Powerpuff Girls is one of Cartoon Network’s original animated series that lasted six seasons from November 18, 1998 to March 25, 2005. It paved away for other original animated series inspired by Carig McCracken’s creation.

After the series ended there where different iterations of the series, but Cartoon Network announced that they will reboot the series and it premiered today!

Toonami Ready For Dragon Ball Super!

11.12.2015 – Dragon Ball is one of Japan’s iconic series on television and now Toonami will be airing its latest in Dragon Ball Super. This is not a retelling of Dragon Ball Z or a side story like Dragon Ball GT, but it is series after the Majin Boo story arc.

The new series is a good jumping point to new fans and more of the official announcement has been revealed that it set to air in the Asian region.

Dragon Ball Super, the first Dragon Ball television series to be produced in nearly 20 years, will make its pan-regional launch on Toonami, Turner’s kids brand dedicated to delivering the best superhero and action-adventure animation, in mid-2016.

The latest instalment of the classic franchise will have an exclusive first-run premiere on Toonami, which will also be its English-language world premiere.

FCBD 2014: KaBoom Summer Blast!

05.26.2014 – Free Comic Book Day 2014 had some interesting titles when they gave them all away on May 3, 2014. There were 57 titles in all that’s really difficult to choose from, but one of the most sought after is KaBoom Studios’ Summer Blast!

This issue compiles EIGHT series that they produce individually on a monthly basis. FIVE of those are animation from Cartoon Network, while there are TWO iconic comic strips and a Heroic Bear with a Kid partner.

Regular Show: "Episodic Figures" Rigby!

05.01.2014 – The Regular Show is one of the hit animation from Cartoon Network, which mainly target audience is teens and adults. It’s surprising that the show gets aired in the Asian region but with minor cuts due to the material not for younger viewers.

There are action figures and merchandise tied-up with Regular Show, but they haven’t reached retail stores. It’s rarely you will come across any of the action figures by Jazwares and here’s a closer look at the other half of the team in Rigby…

Saturday of Fun at CN Toon Fest!

You got the yearly long lines to get free comic books and by Sunday it’s a global celebration for a galaxy far away. But for the young ones there’s CN ToonFest from Cartoon Network.

This might the first of its kind in the country a fun Saturday with Cartoon Network also this Saturday and it happens in the late afternoon…

DC Nation: Darwyn Cooke's Batman Beyond!

04.21.2014 – Batman Beyond gets to be featured on Cartoon Network’s DC Nation, but first it was revealed during the recently concluded WornderCon in Anaheim California.

The animated featured was produced by Darwyn Cooke a Canada based comic book writer, cartoonist, and animator. He slowly got notice for his work in the six issue miniseries DC: The New Frontier.

Happy Meal US Spotlight: Adventure Time!

04.06.2014 – Adventure Time is a bizarre world that tells the stories of two characters in Finn and Jake. But for those who has been following their quest it’s more than saving the princess from the Ice King or having a good chat with their computer named BMO.

Pendelton Ward created a world that has psychedelic imaginations some grown ups don’t even follow. But for those young and have an open mind catching up the show on Cartoon Network would definitely get a kick out to find a Happy Meal toy released too.

Regular Show: "Episodic Figures" Mordecai!

02.12.2014 – The Regular show is an off-beat animated series created by JG Quintel for Cartoon Network that premiered in September 6, 2010. The story revolves around two friends Mordecai a Blue Jay & Rigby a Raccoon who work as groundskeepers of the park.

The popularity of the series produced merchandise based on the characters of the series, but just like the show it also focuses on variations of Mordecai and Rigby. Jazwares, the same manufacturers of the Adventure Time produced the action figures.

Kids Meal Spotlight: Green Lantern Force Collection!

12.10.2013 – The Green Lantern: The Animated Series was launched last Saturday on Toonami Asia, and to support the show here’s a spotlight on the Emerald Warrior. The most popular among the Green Lantern is Hal Jordan.

For those casual viewers who spent watching Justice League Animated everyone have known John Stuart as the Green Lantern. But Hal Jordan is more popuialrthat the 2011 live action film made him the lead. Jollibee, a fast food chain in the Philippines has the Green Lantern promo as their Kids Meal toy back in 2012…

Toy Sightings: Adventure Time!

11.30.2013 – Just in time for the holiday season The Adventure Time toys by Jazwares was sighted on display in toy stores in Manila. The much awaited official merchandise that inspired the hit animation on Cartoon Network is finally here.

Previously you can only find these at specialty stores, that would be retailed twice the actual price. The merchandise consists of plush toys and the action figures.

The series of merchandise features Finn and Jake the Dog finally make on retail after a huge demand due to the popularity of the show.

This BMO speaker is not a license product, but the maker of this has put dedication and impressive craftsmanship that pass up as an original. It’s also one of a kind that you’ll never see an identical twin, since it was made with great inspiration.

Superman 75th Anniversary Animated Short!

10.16.2013 – It’s been 75 years and the first ever superhero celebrates his milestone. The popular character created by Joe Shuster and Jerry Siegel who first appeared in Action Comics #1 takes flight with this DC animated short.

This particular animation was directed by Zack Snyder (Man of Steel) and Bruce Timm (Superman: The Animated Series) collaborate which was also produced by Warner Bros. Animation!

Cartoon Network's "Beware The Batman" teaser poster and press release!


First announced by Warner Bros. during the MIP Junior Market Convention last October, Cartoon Network has officially released the first teaser poster and press release for their upcoming new Batman animated series entitled "Beware The Batman". To be rendered in CGI (much like Green Lantern: The Animated Series), the new show will debut sometime in 2013, and will feature Batman fighting crime alongside "ex-secret agent" Alfred and Katana.
