| During the Asia Pop Comic Con in Manila, I got to meet and interview Billy Tan. A Malaysian-American, he is one of the few Asian artists that made it big in the comic book industry.
His notable work on the flagship title for Green Lantern starting with issue #21 with writer Robert Venditti who took over Geoff Johns as the writer would garner further attention in his career. |
| 08.15.2016 – Stephen Segovia has been in the comicbook industry and has garnered acclaimed for his works with DC Comics and Marvel. Based in the Philippines Stephen is like any average fan who is in to reading comics.
He joins his fellow artists Carlo Pagulayan and Michael Jason Paz last Saturday for a special DC Comics signing which launched the titles Deathstroke and Segovia’s debut in Action Comics #961 as one of the three rotating artists assigned at the flash ship Superman book that returned to its original numbering after New 52. |
 | 03.21.2012 – GeekMatic had a quick interview with David Finch this recent Monday at Jaime Daez’s office at the Fully Booked flagship store at the Bonifacio High Street. Finch spoke about his overwhelming experience when he landed in the Philippines up to the event itself. He also spoke about the passport incident that almost cancelled the event which was temporarily postponed his trip to the country. We tackled also his other interest besides chasing children as he jokingly answered. Lately Finch got interested in video and photography that he mentioned of directing his very first music video by an up and coming talent in Canada. |
