05.21.2016 – This story that has become a timeless classic continues to be relevant even to the 21st century. “Pinocchio” stories have been around for more than a hundred years, the original by Italian writer Carlo Collodi is still popular today. The most rewarding family bonding experience is about to happen at SM Cinemas with its latest Family Movie Day weekend promo on May 28 and 29 featuring the latest version of the timeless story of “Pinocchio.”

05.05.2016 – There have been countless adaptation of Pinocchio’s story since its original that was first published in 1883 by Italian writer Carlo Collodi. The story of a puppet made by a woodcarver named Geppetto in a small Italian village of Florence who dreams to become a real boy. He has also been used as a character that is prone to telling lies and fabricating stories for various reasons. The story has been adapted in other media and Pinocchio has been called an icon of modern culture. Its one of the most re-imagined characters in the pantheon of children's literature that still continue to be relevant in the 21st century. There have been notable adaptations that are well-known in the mainstream media, but there are also versions that more like created for independent filmmakers. One of these adaptations will be heading to Philippine cinema courtesy of CrystalSky Multimedia and SM Cinemas to tighten family ties with the launch of Family Movie Day every weekend featuring the latest award-winning modern-day “Pinocchio” that starts May 28 & 29.

04.14.2016 – “Captain America: Civil War” is heading top cinemas in a few weeks and promotional event has begun. SM Cinema kicks off the celebration with their launch giving movie goers a special treat. Snack Time Exclusive The Peanuts Movie Collectibles!

01.04.2016 – “Snoopy and Charlie Brown: The Peanuts Movie” is heading to Philippine cinemas in four days. Just like any property that have an upcoming film there will always merchandise to go around. So far there have Snoopy-related collectibles even before the promotion of this 3D animated feature like diecast cars from Hot Wheels and Tomica. There are even construction toys, but just like any film Snack Time have their merchandise.

Sights & Highlights: Kyoto Inferno Press Media Event!

08.07.2014 – Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno gala premiere last night was unprecedented with the support from the Japanese embassy down to the fans that came to see the lead stars and the director of the films. It was one of the most successful and organized red carpet screenings that Warner Bros. Picture Philippines ever have accomplished that feature the stars of the movie. The big turnouts for the Rurouni Kenshin erasing the fans mixed reactions not seeing this studio bring this film locally in 2012

Hunter X Hunter: The Last Mission Showing Exclusively at SM Cinemas

I can't believe that it's already been a year since Movie Punch distributed Hunter X Hunter: The Phantom Rogue last May and now they're at it again with the new movie ~ Hunter X Hunter: The Last Mission which will screen EXCLUSIVELY at SM Cinemas on April 19 - that's a Black Saturday so not sure how that's going to work but I guess they will be screening it for a couple of weeks so mark those calendars!
