HW Moto | Canyon Carver

Hot Wheels is popularly known for producing die-cast cars and has expanded to making different types of vehicles. This also includes fictional planes, helicopters, and boats based on their own concept and design. The Mattel brand gives their designers the freedom to create their concepts for original Hot Wheels creation.

But as always the majority of collectors would prefer cars to the ones mentioned. Sometimes, the interest also expands to two wheels, namely motorcycles. Rarely, they would produce licensed motorbikes from BMW, Ducati, or even Honda. Hot Wheels would further incorporate their original ideas too like the Canyon Carver motorbike.

HW Batman | Batman Forever Batmobile

“Batman Forever” was a surprise following the exit of Michael Keaton as Batman/Bruce Wayne and Tim Burton vacating the director’s chair to helm the third Batman film. Replacing Batman/Bruce Wayne was Val Kilmer, and around that time his popularity with his previous films made him a suitable replacement. But Joel Schumacher as the director for this one was quite an uncertainty in the 1990s.

The same goes for how the fans would take it as something else. With the ‘New’ Batman everything is also different, and the term ‘semi-reboot’ was not yet the catchphrase everyone was used to. Although one thing that has caught everyone’s attention is the ‘New’ Batmobile that Kilmer will be driving in this next Bat-Film.

HW Experimotors | Tanknator

Hot Wheels has been around long enough to just focus on making real world diecast cars. Over the years they expand and create different types of diecast cars and in their mainline every year a theme is added or introduced. In the last eight years they have come up with diecast cars made out of everyday objects turned into cars.

This also included cars that can be ridden by minifigures, and since their parent company Mattel acquired Canadian toy company Mega Bloks and re-branded it into Mega Construx they also produced cars for this range of toys namely the oddball vehicle The Tanknator, that definitely made true to its name.

HW Screen Time | Party Wagon

Every superhero team has a story, and some of their origins can be as interesting as how they present themselves. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is one oddball team that’s culled cult following coming from an independent comicbook series that became popular due to the animated series and with the toys and action figures.

With that there was a lot of backstory and character build that weren’t in the original comicbooks. The animated series from 1987 redefined the turtles not just a rag tag of mutants living the sewers, but having ingenuity in dealing Shredder and The Foot clans, which brings you to the their gadgets and their iconic Party Wagon!

HW Metro | Time Shifter

Hot Wheels are known for producing licensed diecast cars, and for most of the time creates concept fictional cars based on its design team’s ideas. From obscure vehicles based on random things to sometimes based on a particular car that would become part of a videogame, which has become part of the brand to keep them relevant.

The Time Shifter is an original casting from Hot Wheels, and it is also based on another car. The 2018 mainline release is the second time it was produced and part of a subtheme HW Metro mini collection series as a Delivery Van that seems to need a little bit of adoration for its simplistic concept that is rarely seen in another original casting that was produced by Mattel for their diecast brand.

Hot Wheels 5-Pack | Justice League

07.20.2018 – These days when a film or animation is released chances are a plethora or merchandise gets produced. Most of them are based from what appears in the films, animation, or videogames. Sometimes this merchandise tends to overdo it in putting a product going beyond the original concept.

Hot Wheels is known for its weird and odd concepts, but also produce some of the interesting ones based from its source material. The recent Justice League movie produced vehicles that Batman uses to combat the Parademons led by Steppenwolf in the 2017 film and this five-pack bends that concept.
