HW Batman | Batman Forever Batmobile

“Batman Forever” was a surprise following the exit of Michael Keaton as Batman/Bruce Wayne and Tim Burton vacating the director’s chair to helm the third Batman film. Replacing Batman/Bruce Wayne was Val Kilmer, and around that time his popularity with his previous films made him a suitable replacement. But Joel Schumacher as the director for this one was quite an uncertainty in the 1990s.

The same goes for how the fans would take it as something else. With the ‘New’ Batman everything is also different, and the term ‘semi-reboot’ was not yet the catchphrase everyone was used to. Although one thing that has caught everyone’s attention is the ‘New’ Batmobile that Kilmer will be driving in this next Bat-Film.

Dream Tomica | Batmobile

08.11.2020 - The Batmobile is the single most important part of the Batman mythology that’s important to the character that appeared in the same time introducing the Caped Crusader in Detective Comics #27.

It has evolved through the car’s technology and has been adapted in other media that also includes the videogames, film, and animation adapting through the times the same way Batman’s character development. The Batmobile from the 1989 film was introduced is something else that became an icon on its own.

Hot Wheels 5-Pack | Justice League

07.20.2018 – These days when a film or animation is released chances are a plethora or merchandise gets produced. Most of them are based from what appears in the films, animation, or videogames. Sometimes this merchandise tends to overdo it in putting a product going beyond the original concept.

Hot Wheels is known for its weird and odd concepts, but also produce some of the interesting ones based from its source material. The recent Justice League movie produced vehicles that Batman uses to combat the Parademons led by Steppenwolf in the 2017 film and this five-pack bends that concept.

HW Batman | BvS Batmobile

09.29.2017 – The Batmobile has been as iconic as its driver, Batman. It has become part of the Batman mythology as the Cape Crusader’s primary vehicle. It first appeared in Detective Comics Vol.1 #27 in 1939 as an ordinary red car that evolved throughout the years into a technologically advanced vehicle in black.

Hot Wheels has produced several iteration of the Batmobile from its popular series in the 1960s, based from videogames and other media. But the recent one from Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice takes it to the next evolution.

Tumblers and Bane being filmed on Pittsburgh for The Dark Knight Rises!

Batman-News has sprung the word for a couple of nifty news from the set of Christopher Nolan's next Batman movie, with one post showing photos of Tom Hardy on set and wearing full costume gear as Bane for "The Dark Knight Rises"! With filming currently taking place in Pittsburgh, this looks to be a major scene taking place with Hardy standing in the middle of the street, with his Bane costume made up of a military vest, trenchcoat, and of course a mask that covers his mouth.

Also being filmed on Pittsburgh is the returning Tumbler (aka the Batmobile), or rather THREE of them. For those still wondering why the vehicle is back, Lucius Fox did point out in Batman Begins that there is more than one, so it would make sense for Bruce Wayne to procure another one for his needs. A video has also made its way to You Tube which sees the vehicles being driven on the set.

The Dark Knight Rises Update: Vehicles sighted! The Tumblr returns!

It appears that some scoopers hot on the trail of shooting locations for Christopher Nolan's next Bat-flick "The Dark Knight Rises" have struck gold in their findings, and via Superherohype, we get our first look at the vehicles set to appear in the next sequel. In addition to a SWAT vehicle for the Gotham City Police Department, Batman's own arsenal of vehicles we captured being loaded to the set, and besides a covered up Batpod being spotted, it appears that the Dark Knight's original ride, The Tumbler, has returned!

That's right folks, your eyes don't deceive you! The Batmobile will be making its presence known yet again in the third Batfilm, but wasn't it destroyed and converted in the Batpod in The Dark Knight back in 2008? The answer is both yes and no. If you remember the scene in Batman Begins where Bruce Wayne and Lucius Fox tested out a non-black colored Tumbler, Mr. Fox did mention that "two" were made to serve as bridging vehicles for combat and military application purposes. With the first car destroyed, it only makes sense for Bruce to go and get the other one. After all, that was one sweet and massive ride to begin with, hehe. For more info, check out the source posts at Superherohype and Slash Film!

The Dark Knight Rises will premiere in theaters worldwide come July 20, 2012!
