Funko POP! Marvel | Howard the Duck

08.04.2016 – Funko’s POP! line of vinyl figurines continue to expand with its license properties from animation, movies, videogames, and even those created for visual artist with their original creations that capture everyone’s attention. It is a lucrative and popular brand for Funko that also have the rights to produce characters for Marvel, but the difference from the standard vinyl figurine they have their version do the ‘bobble’ and one of them is the famous Howard the Duck.

Marvel Universe: Black Widow!

03.17.2014 – For every super team there’s a female lead character that’s a member of this group. Marvel’s the Avengers had one female lead in the Black Widow portrayed by Scarlett Johansson who will reprise her role in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. In the comic books the Black Widow’s character is more layered and defined as to he she is being a double or triple agent. Black Widow first appeared in Tales of Suspense #52 in 1964 and her origins revealed in Avengers #44 in 1967.

Force Five: Blue Force!

11.20.2013 – Blue Force is a character appearing in the fictional Japanese television show Force Five, which exist in the world of Blue Bustamante. In that particular realm Blue Force is portrayed by a stunt double in a suit named George Bustamante. George an engineer who works as an OFW (Overseas Filipino Worker) lost his job. But found an alternate employment as a suit actor thanks to his friend Roger Grace. Blue Bustamante a successful indie film in the Philippines released an action figure.

Marvel Universe: The Punisher!

09.29.2013 – The Punisher Marvel’s antihero is the only character who doesn’t have superpowers but definitely has a wide range of weaponry at his disposal. Appearing on the Amazing Spider-Man #129 (Vol.1 February 1974) he takes his war on crimes VERY seriously to the point of killing his enemies. There were several incarnations of the character and had some mainstream success recently mostly written by Garth Ennis.

09.24.2013 – Kulot is a doodle character created by Nelz Yumul which would be considered his very own signature whenever he and his colleagues at WeeWillDoodle.com doing live art at events. You won’t miss Kulot (Curly in English) as he appears whenever Nelz do a live doodle. The character has evolved and there were already plans for Kulot to become a designer toy which has been the concept since last year. There have been concept art version of Kulot but this one is on its stages of becoming a limited edition release.

Sighted: Power Rangers Megaforce!

09.09.2013 – The Power Rangers has become part of the American culture and for the past 20 years they continue to bring new shows every year based from the Japanese Super Sentai shows that has become a global brand for Bandai when it comes to merchandise. This year celebrates 20 years of Power Rangers and to bring in the anniversary they have released the latest series in Megaforce known in Japan as Tensou Sentai Goseiger. The toys have already been sighted in the Philippines and also have some of the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers action figures.

Toy Photography has become everyone’s form of expression in small scale photography using toys as their primary subject. It has become popular that gave toy collectors a new passion from just collecting into getting also into the hobby of photography.

This particular exclusive is based from an episode of the classic series from the 1980s which prompt them release a red version of the Lion-O 8” figure which eventually reveals to be Mumm-Ra the Thundercats’ powerful nemesis.

Transformers Fall of Cybertron is the highly anticipated sequel to the very successful shooter Transformers War for Cybertron - the game that presented one of the most unique versions of Optimus Prime in the market. This Prime is one of the first characters released as a toy preceding the video-game in order to help drum up support along with Jazz and the Decepticon Shockwave.

I'm not so sure why they bothered with a re-make of a good-design (Maybe they read my comment about the War of Cybertron Optimus Prime having stubby arms). But change him they did, and here he is.
