JP Cuison Launches Buzztro & Jarvis the Albino Bat!

04.09.2014 – Buzztro and Jarvis the Albino Bat is another creation from the mind of JP Cuison who was the lead vocalist for his former band Kiko Machine, comic book artists who brought you Punnx Komiks that featured Mighty T. This is his fifth solo show and for the first time the characters would look authentic like the real Saturday morning cartoon show. If you missed seeing his last solo show being ‘Misplaced’ this time Buzztro & Jarvis will take you into a new adventure.

Blue Bustamante Theatrical Poster by Gigzilla!

11.05.2013 – It’s already November and Blue Bustamante is a few days away for being shown in Philippine theaters through Cinema One Originals Film Festival 2013 happening from November 11 to 19 in three locations. Blue Bustamante is one of the few selected independent films that has been talked about with the cast starring Joem Bascon in the lead, Dimples Romana, Jhiz Deocareza, and Jun Sabayton as Roger Grace. Now the official poster has been revealed!

Throwback: Kiko Machine!

10.24.2013 – If you have been following Kiko Machine Komix by Manix Abrera then consider yourself a fan but for those who just started picking up the series you’ll be surprised where it all started. Originally Kiko Machine started as a band and has produced one full album with the same name. At the same time Manix Abrera came up with a comic book series that would evolve on to his own that’s heading to become the most sought after titles from Visprint.

11.20.2012 – JP Cuison’s 3rd solo exhibit at the Secret Fresh has a bit of art & music all rolled into one since he designs posters for events under the Gigzilla name. Previously he was part of the Kiko Machine band that produced an album and the man behind the puppet in Gorgoro Henson. Multi-talented creative individual who defines JP Cuison and might not forget he’s been in the previous Komikon peddling his copies of Punnx Komiks that parodied “Funny Komiks” as well as animated shorts of Filipino inspired Avengers led by Captain Barangay Captain & Mighty T!

Creature Feature: JP Cuison's Mighty-T?!

07.03.2012 – Sometime in 2007 a guy named JP Cuison was selling his works at the UP Bahay ng Alumni during Komikon. He was selling DVD copies of his independent animation of Captain Barangay Captain!



This 2-disc DVD edition featured collaboration between Cuison and Kiko Machine Komix’s Manix Abrera where his art work was animated for this rare modern independent piece of Filipino Pop Culture nostalgia. There’s one character that had quite a naughty but interesting name parodied after Marvel’s Mighty Thor by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.

Punnx Komix goes 3D!
