Happy Meal PH 2015: Happy!
| 08.27.2015 – Happy finally makes it to Asia and the Philippines for late August/early September Happy Meal toy offered in the country. This was previously speculated early in May when Singapore first offered them bringing only eight variations.
Happy has slowly appear in the Happy Meal displays early this year first sighted as an image together with the promotion for the DreamWorks Animation feature ‘Home’ and then followed with appearance in ‘Shaun the Sheep’ display. This continued, but was moved from behind the scenes to give way for The Minions promotion in July. But then, there was images of Happy as the next toy offered at McDonald’s yesterday as reported that it's already being sold somewhere in Quezon City. So far, no other McDonald’s store has been sighted until someone shared an image of ‘Happy’ toys on display at McDonald’s in Antipolo City. |

McDo Happy Meal 2015: Minions Worldwide!
| 06.14.2015 – Earlier today McDonald’s Philippines has revealed what are the next Happy Meal toys through Rappler.com, and you’ll probably be surprised to know its going to be a feeding frenzy this time of the year just like in 2013.
The Minions spinoff movie is set to be shown next month, which means the merchandise and promotions is already set in motion as revealed… |

Happy Meal Spotlight 2014: My Little Pony!
| 05.17.2014 – For those who haven’t keeping track of the latest Happy Meal toys in the Philippines, for this month of May. You’ll probably not be surprised, but others might be underwhelmed by this set of promotions.
But it’s definitely sure, there will be My Little Pony fans out there along with their male counterparts ‘The Brownies’ looking to get the latest ponies from McDonald’s. Last year, they released MLP figurines along with related to Transformers Prime. |

Happy Meal Spotlight: Super Mario 3D World!
| 04.17.2014 – Late in March 2014 McDonald’s Philippines released their latest Happy Meal in the form of Super Mario 3D World, which is based on the Wii U game that has all your favorite Mario Bros. characters.
However the ones McDonald’s released doesn’t have everyone with the exception of Yoshi and Princess Peach in the line up that you need to collect all eight. These toys were released only in the Philippines while other neighboring countries settle for other toys. |

Happy Meal Asia 2014: SpongeBob's Underwater Adventures!
| 04.15.2014 – Happy Meal in the Philippines quickly updated the latest toys to be released after Super Mario 3D World went sold out in less than seven days. It wasn’t released in other territories aside from Japan and some parts of South America in 2013.
Immediately McDonald’s Philippines had a back up plan and they have now SpongeBob SquarePants Underwater Adventures. But this is not the first time SpongeBob was featured for the Happy Meal. This was previously released last year in Austria, Germany, Luxembourg, Poland, Qatar and Pakistan. |

HM Asia 2014: Mr. Peabody & Sherman Sphinx Maze!
| 03.15.2014 – The worldwide promotion for Mr. Peabody & Sherman featured as McDonald’s Happy Meal is not entirely the same. There’s one or two toy different in each continent, and just like in the previous featured promotion it stands out unique.
For those hardcore in collecting all the variations, it’s a challenge. If you have been one of those, who qre tracking all the minions for Despicable Me 2, this one is not as easy as you think. In Asia, they have their own exclusive and that's the Sphinx Maze! |

Happy Meal 2014: Mr. Peabody & Sherman!
| 03.02.2014 – In anticipation for the upcoming 3D animated film Mr. Peabody & Sherman, McDonald’s has started announcing their next Happy Meal toy to coincide with the worldwide release. The revelation was also revealed when McDonald’s in the Philippines gave away some of the toys during special screening.
Just like the popular minions from last year’s Despicable Me 2, Mr. Peabody & Sherman have their variations of puzzles that will be available in various regions in North America, Asia and Europe. The same way they did with Megamind in 2010… |

The Iconic Happy Meal Box Returns!
| 09.19.2013 – Earlier this morning McDonald’s Philippines officially released the return of the Happy Meal box which was unveiled yesterday in a private media launch. For those who have not seen the Happy Meal box in the Philippines it was discontinued in 2001.
Everyone who has seen a Happy Meal box can closely associated that without it that particular product is "not happy at all” as being the identity as part of the McDonald’s brand. This was previously mentioned when the US released Despicable Me 2 Minions was reviewed including the box. |

Meal Toy Battles: Happy Meal vs Kids Meal 2013!
| 08.16.2013 – Call it “the last man standing” but in the Philippines there are only two fast food restaurants who are still offering meals for kids that have toys for free. In the previous feature back in 2011 there were three including Wendy’s who offered toys but they stop having them anymore.
Jollibee the biggest fast food restaurant in the Philippines which has now have stores all over the world is the second store that offers meals with toys. Of course McDonald’s started it all more than 30 years ago. |

Happy Meal 2013: It's the Smurfs 2!
| 07.24.2013 – The unprecedented success of the Happy Meal brand for McDonald’s has been followed by other fast food restaurants. The aftermath of the Despicable Me 2 featuring the beloved minions has caused the marketing to bring the next one –- Smurfs !
The Smurfs (Les Schtroumpfs in French) has been around long before merchandise marketing was born for collectibles as it first appeared in a Belgian comic and television show. Smurfs first appeared in comics on October 23, 1958 by Peyo (pen name of Pierre Culliford). |

McDo PH: Should Implement a Happy Meal Policy?
| 07.23.2013 – Happy Meal’s recent success with the Despicable Me 2 Minions has pushed a huge demand that can never be compared. The global popularity of the yellow guys talking gibberish has changed the way some McDonald’s in other regions to re-think the policy to avoid some incidents from happening again.
Smurfs 2 is the next Happy Meal toy in the line-up following the smashing success of DM2’s minion craze. This puts a lot of questions about how this will be done. |

Happy Meal 2013: Despicable Me 2 US Release!
07.03.2013 – The movie comes out in the US in less than 24 hours and there was no details of what the minions that will come out but thanks to those who followed the updates regarding the releases in some parts of the world.
In the Philippines prior to the movie’s release it was sold out and no word on a restock as previously reported during the premier last Saturday that they have 1.2 million units allotted for the whole duration of the promotions.

Happy Meal 2012: SpongeBob SquarePants!
| 04.11.2012 – Currently in Davao City we sighted the latest Happy Meal for the month of April is none other than SpongeBob SquarePants. There’s all eight to choose from similar to those figurines that Burger King had a few years ago. The difference with these new SpongeBob SquarePants figurines is each of the variance of the famous resident of Bikini Bottom has its own feature. See the Astronaut SpongeBob has a light up while Super Sponge has a story to share by taking a peek at his ear to view his misadventures with his best friend Patrick Star. |
